About

I love baking and cooking — and, I’ll experiment with everything from healthy, vegeterian to meat-loving, American to international cuisine and anything for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I have a penchant for red nail polish, polaroid pictures, Scrabble, exercise, College football, Salsa dancing, mini items (cupcakes, quiche, cookies, etc.) and, of course, sundresses.

Connect with me – I’d love to hear any feedback, comments or ideas!

If I wasn’t hungry before, I am now! Very nicely laid out site and visually yummy!

I have eliminated sugar and white flour out of my diet and am now always trying to find delicious treats that add nutritional value.

  2. Your blog is beautiful…I’m also 100% on board with the sundress thing.
I hope to continue to read your lovely posts and to try out some of the recipes.
You’re truly a girl after my own heart…except the college football thing, I prefer rugby but that’s because I’m South African.

    • Aww – thank you so much – this made my morning! Rugby huh? I played that in our sports classes here in the states at school a few times – such an interesting sport. I bet it’s so fun to watch!

      • It’s amazing! At the moment there’s the Tri-Nations Cup going on which is played between clubs from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. If you get to watch a bit, you won’t be disappointed.
We recently watched the super bowl over here. I must admit, I was a little confused over some of the rules. But I’m determined to get to grips with it and understand the rules by next year so I can watch my second super bowl without feeling silly!

And thanks so much for replying, it’s always really nice to meet new bloggers.

      • Crazy – I know there is a place near my house that plays the games very late at night (starting at 2 a.m. because of the time difference!). I’ll let you know when I do watch!

Football is confusing the first time you watch it – but you get the hang of it quick!

  3. Thanks for dropping by and liking the chocolate and bergamot cookies! Your site is really well thought through and nicely presented – well done! I understand the sundress thing, just wish we had more than three months of a year when I can wear them!

  4. I see several recipes I must try. That twix bar is scrumptious looking. Oh, and may ears perked up when I noticed you enjoy salsa dancing πŸ™‚

  5. Hi!! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I love the look of yours. Every food pic looks delicious — I see a lot of recipes I need to try! I also love sundresses! πŸ™‚
